About Vinny Whiteman

Vinny Whiteman is a London-based photographer specialising in food, drink, lifestyle and provenance photography. His work combines a natural, observational approach with carefully considered lighting and composition, creating imagery that feels authentic, contemporary and engaging.

Vinny’s interest in photography began while studying astronomy at university, where photographing the night sky developed into a much wider fascination with image-making. Astronomy remains an important part of his personal work today, particularly photographing solar eclipses, the Moon and night skies around the world.

Working across advertising, editorial, packaging, digital and social, Vinny collaborates with brands, creative agencies, publishers and producers on projects ranging from studio-based food and drink campaigns to location photography documenting farmers, growers, makers and the stories behind where our food comes from.

Alongside photography, Vinny is co-director of True Studio, creating film and motion content for food and drink brands. Whether working with stills or moving image, his approach is centred around strong storytelling, beautiful imagery and capturing moments that feel genuine rather than overly constructed.

Based in West London, Vinny works throughout the UK and internationally.
